I had always wanted an 8 Series BMW ever since High School. Then one day I knew a friend of a friend who wanted to sell their 850i.It was a 2 owner southern car, super clean and with service records. What else could you ask for! Well after little back and forth, I was the proud owner a beautiful white 1991 850i.

As with any clean 8 Series, this car is a head turner. Of all the BMW’s I have owned, this one garners the most “thumbs up” when driving. The car runs nice and has a lots of power on tap. It is definitely a different type of BMW, I now understand when people refer to it as an “Autobahn Stormer”

The previous owner lived in Atlanta, GA and owned the car the longest, since 1995. While in his ownership, the car was garage kept. It has been a common story, he loved the car but just did not drive it enough and his better half was forcing a sale. Lucky for me!

All the maintenance is up to date. The first thing I did when I bought the car was change the intake manifold gaskets, which is no small feat on the 12 cylinders. Fresh fluids, good detailing, and leather treatment all have recently been done. There is a nice sized folder of receipts with the car along with the original booklets and portfolio.The service book is also full of Inspection stamps! The tool kit is complete right down to the famous “blue” BMW rag.

The car only has 2 flaws, first someone stole the center caps the first night I owned the car. Second, the driver seat motors are getting slow. Other than that, the car is ready for a new home. I am only selling so quickly because I am moving and cannot take all my BMW’s with me.
